Founded in 2015, Xi 'an Zhongke Lead IR Technology Co., Ltd. is an intelligent photoelectric equipment development enterprise, incubated by Xiguang Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the thermal IR imaging technology at its thermal imaging module. It has long been a well-known supplier of IR imaging and measurement equipment at home, and also the advocate of China's medical IR industry. The company boasts a large number of technical personnel with expertise in various sectors, and a staff of over 150, of which researchers accounted for more than 50%, including 25 senior researchers and 7 talented personnel at provincial or municipal level.


Lead IR owns a number of patents, covering thermal imaging module technologies such as high sensitivity IR imaging, high-precision IR thermal field measurement, 3D vision reconstruction, and intelligent IR medical detection. The products developed have been successfully supporting more than 50 well-known enterprises and institutions in various fields. The company and its subsidiaries have three hubs of photoelectric equipment integration, precision optical processing and special lens installation and calibration, equipped with more than 200 sets of advanced equipment of various types, such as CNC polishing, contour graph, three-coordinate equipment, interferometer, photoelectric test system, etc., with the ability to realize the whole process of photoelectric products from design, processing to integration and inspection.


After years of exploration, the company has won many honors, including National Key Little Giant Enterprise, National High-Tech Enterprise, National Enterprise with Intellectual Property Strength, Hidden Champion Enterprise of Shaanxi Province, Thermal imaging module Member of Shaanxi Photonic Industry Innovation Consortium, Xi 'an Gazelle Enterprise, and Potential Unicorn Enterprise in Xi 'an High-tech Zone.

    In September 2022, won National Enterprise with Intellectual Property Strength, shortlisted for Xi 'an “Future Star TOP20”, and “Core Tech Enterprise Star TOP100”;

    In November, a co-developed space optics payload was successfully launched into China's space station aboard Tianzhou V.
